PhotoLight F.A.Q.

Q: Why did my PhotoLight come with 2 thin pieces of plastic?

A: These plastic inserts, placed on either side of your photo, protect your picture from dust and "grubby little hands."  They are not essential in the function of your PhotoLight. Your picture will still look great in the unit by itself..

Q: Will the light cause my picture to fade?

A: Since the picture is backlit and the light source is low wattage, the PhotoLight will never cause fading or heat damage to your photo.

Q: Can I use a brighter bulb than the one provided?

A: We recommend not using a bulb more than 7 watts. This is the standard for most night lights. This particular bulb can be purchased almost anywhere light bulbs are sold.

Q: Can I leave my Photolight on all the time?

A: Yes. Due to the low wattage, the bulb will not overheat the frame and risk the possibility of fire.

Q: What kind of special paper is required for the PhotoLight?

A: None!  The PhotoLight uses pictures or images printed on regular photo paper from your computer or from photos printed by Kodak, Shutterfly, etc.

Q: How do I clean my PhotoLight?
A: It's easy.  Unplug, detach the components from the frame, rinse and let drip dry..
